Louise Baldwin

Louise Baldwin was a textile artist who specialises in using Textures and colour to achieve a desired effect.
Originally working with layered textures and patterns drawn from plant forms she produced large scale stitched paper wall hangings. Her work has gradually transformed along the way, reflecting changes in focus and the influence of the world around her.
she uses a mixture of bright and neutral colours to make aspects of her work pop and that is one of the most interesting parts of her pieces due to the eye catching nature of the contrast created.
Sue Stone

Sue Stone is a textile artist who specialises in hand and machine and hand embroidery.
Her work exhibits the real and figurative, using fair mark making to create a fine texture and effective piece, with the odd fish thrown in for effect every now and then. I heavily enjoy the use of neutral tones with the odd bold colour; it creates realism on the cusp of surrealism and I find that to be extremely interesting. I also really like the fish motif because I really like fish.
Anne Kelly

Anne Kelly is a textile artist who specialises in recycled fabric, paper and ephemera and the techniques of collage, stitch, photographic and print processes to create mixed media textiles.
I really enjoy the consistent use of highly saturated colours and textures as they give a homely vintage feel in which I often find myself hoping to emulate in my own pieces.
