Perspective

Two Point Perspective
This was my first pass at trying to capture a corridor with ink, a straw and a dream. This drawing is slightly too simplistic for my liking and could be improved with more attention to detail.

My second pass pleased me a lot more as it is still expressive and yet cleaner and you can see more of what the image is suppose to be.
To the left are perspective shots taken throughout Grimsby Institute .

I feel as though to improve upon my work with perspective I first need to have more first hand help as I often fine myself getting extremely confused. I need to learn which points I should take toward the vanishing point and how to utilise my ruler to its highest potential. Id do this by taking more time to practice perspective. I should also be mindful to add more depth to my pieces using shading to capture the lights and darks of the object to further cheat the eye into perceiving depth and certain amount of implied perspective.
