The Main Four

Echo

Echos like super chill. Her dad owns a music company but she never sees much of him or her mum so she lives with her aunt. Basically, a typical black family where they eat good and are super close. She's a cleaner at the college but it's after hours so barely anyone knows about it. Shes generally happy. Doesn't say much. And uses the garage band app to mix a lot of songs together but she's saving for her own mixing table. She's obsessed with funk and soul music but finds all music to be a key part of everyone's character. Shes a mum in all senses of the term.

Avril

she's Mexican and kinda comes from a broken home with a single mum who she barely sees and a dad she sees but idolizes hates because he's a deadbeat but tbh so is her mum. She fell in love with the grunge scene of the 80/90s because she remembers looking through photo albums of her parents and it seemed that was the only time they were ever in love. Shes secretly in love with fashion because ever since she was small she was shoved in front of a tv and she never found interest in the shows so had to find interest in other things and that happened to be the outfits. Shes still bullied now but her friends protect her when she's with them and often heckles back to the three boys who taunt her. She has a job as a stable hand for a sweet old couple who used to be punk and has formed a kind of bond where they're her grandparents and were better role models than her parents could ever be.

Ginny

Ginny is Puffett's oldest friend. They started out as internet friends and they met over some of Ginny's art. She's a total art geek and basically just sat in her room and drew all day. She has a pretty happy family but is rather timid and quiet. Like with her friend's shes super talkative and fun but when around others she doesn't talk much. Shes very sweet. Her family is pretty normal and she had a brother whos fighting in Afghanistan so shes pretty patriotic. Her mums always at work so she spent a lot of time with her dad so she has weird dad humor and has a weird love for science; more so the physics aspect than the chemical one. Shes also a waitress at a fast food place and got Puffett her job.

Puffett

Puffett is just a small bean from England. Shes kinda always been sheltered and has a really loving family with her mum and dad being very close to her. When she meets Ginny she realises that she wants to explore the world because even with all the horror in America she wants to see where her best friend is! After they take a short holiday up there her parents agree to let her live with Ginny (both parents agreed and liked each other) so she moved in. Shes very ignorant but bubbly and fun. She's a hopeless romantic and gets way too excited way too easily and is naturally friendly which is a blessing and a curse. She never wears flat shoes because she's worried about her height and tries to hide her accent to blend in better.

I often try do studies of my characters as often as I can; Below are sketches and studies of my characters over the period of a few months
