Kickstarter Ideas
For my project I decided I wanted to do it in the style of a Kickstarter. Other sites like Indiegogo exist but I prefer the layout of Kickstarter so I chose to use the format. I wanted to use a Kickstarter as I would be able to use all my skills to create rewards and I wouldn't have to limit myself to one area

Looking at my statistics it seems the most appropriate route to go would be to make a game; however there is a market for comics. I then decided to look for the types of games to make such as; Mini games, Side scroller, RPG, Visual novel, Puzzle games, Strategy, Fighter pvp, Dating sim, Shooter etc. however for my other experiment I will be making a playlet and exploring marketing from a children's standpoint.

Another thing to note from my surveys is that consumers prefer media that distracts them, typically fantasy. But there is also an interest in good vs evil, internal struggle, quests and how the world would look to an alien, this gives me a lot to work with when it comes to the overall look and theme of the game.

However making a game would be far above my own abilities and would need knowledge of coding, of which I don't have. I have thus decided I wanted to make a short animation that would display characters and attacks in a type of "simulation game".

When I had asked about characters; it seems like the female body was of most interest to people. with the hourglass figure being the most appealing, but also strong male figures and small cute people. This is a good basis to work on my my character design with.

For my game experiments ill be exploring the style of mini games and visual novels. The two examples above are Warioware Touched and Mad Father. Other visual novels include; Huniepop, IB, Corpse party, and the witches house. Games like Warioware are Wii carnival games but separate minigames are titles such as Pong, Snake and Space Invaders. However after having a conversation with a friend, we found my passions lie most within the toy industry and I would most effectivly be able to create something I have more of a drive and passion for. Though there is a demand for games there is also a niche for circus related media and toys. I was always told to create something I'd want to buy and thus I turned my attention to creating a toy line based upon my passion for the circus scene and thus have emended my breif to reflect this.

For my toy experiments I will be looking at toy playlets from Monster High, Ever after high, Enchantimals, Barbie, Bratz and MC2 dolls; as well as smaller playlets such as shopkins and the monster high minis. Ill be looking at the construction, packaging, colour and style of each of the dolls and playsets to be able to make my own.
